  • Vitamin E and A. Vitamin E oil plus Vitamin A ointment can do skin wonders. When applied twice a day and on a regular basis, they can be a great addition to your cosmetic routine.

The Steps:

  1. Add 1 tsp. of Vitamin A ointment to 1 tbsp. of Vitamin E oil in a container.
  2. Stir until they become one solution.
  3. Massage onto affected areas, leave it on for 30 minutes or so and wash off with lukewarm water and gentle cleanser.
  4. Moisturize, thereafter.

Mixtures can be kept for a week or less in a cool, dark place.

  • Carrot, Tangerine Peel and Olive Oil. Facial scrubs aren’t always bought. You can always pamper yourself with some home-based recipes. A mixture of tangerine peels, carrots and olive oil can certainly bring back your scar-free skin.

The Steps:

  1. Combine a 1 whole peel of tangerine, ½ carrot and 4 tbsp. of olive in a food processor or blender.
  2. Puree the mixture at a high speed for about 20 seconds.
  3. After showering, massage the mixture onto the wet skin, rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry and apply moisturizer.

It is applied on a regular basis, once a day. Keep it in a fridge for no more than 5 days.
Trust me; you can always whip something up. Your cupboard is a home to many wonders.

  • Microdermabrasion. This procedure is a modern way to get rid of scars. It involves blowing of crystals onto the skin using a hand-held device, abrading of the skin by the instilled crystals and vacuuming off of the crystals thereafter. The goal of this treatment is to even out the topmost layer of the skin to get rid of unwanted tones and indentations, and promote healthy new skin growth.
  • Laser Therapy.
